Mold In Water Heater Closet

Responded to a job regarding a mold issue to a water heater closet. When we arrived we noticed it was worst than expected. Lucky for our customer she contacted the right restoration team and were able to assist right away. Our team quickly isolated the affected area from unaffected with plastic barriers to prevent any cross contamination. After, all affected material was removed down to the stud and our certified technicians sanded, wire brush and wet wiped all exposed wood. Once the affected area was cleaned our air scrubber and dehumidifier were left running for 48 hours and the air quality was tested by an IH to certify that our work was done correctly and no mold spores were present.
